Privacy Policy

This policy explains what johoforms (“we”, “us”) collects when you use our form builder, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@johoforms.com.

Two kinds of people use johoforms

  • Creators — people with a johoforms account who build forms. For their account data, we decide how it is used.
  • Respondents— people who fill in a form. Their answers belong to the creator of that form; we store and process them only on the creator's behalf. If you answered a form and want your answers changed or deleted, contact the form's creator first.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address and profile picture from your sign-in provider (Google or GitHub).
  • Content you create: forms, questions, themes and settings.
  • Form responses: whatever respondents type or select, plus when they started and finished.
  • Billing details: plan, subscription status and invoices. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.
  • Basic usage data: form view counts and technical logs needed to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

  • To run the service: show your forms, store responses, send the notifications you switch on.
  • To bill paid plans and enforce plan limits.
  • To prevent abuse, such as phishing or spam forms.
  • To email you about your account and important service changes. We do not sell your data.

AI features

When you use AI form generation or AI response analysis, the prompt you write — or the relevant form responses — are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the result. We do not use your data to train AI models, and our provider does not use API data for training by default.

Service providers we rely on

  • Vercel — website hosting
  • Supabase — sign-in and database
  • Anthropic — AI features
  • Our payment provider — subscriptions and invoices
  • Resend — email notifications
  • Slack or your own webhook address — only if you connect them to a form

Some of these providers process data outside your country. They are bound to protect it.

Cookies

We only use cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep data

We keep your forms and responses until you delete them or close your account. Deleted data is removed from our live systems straight away and from backups within 30 days.

Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your data at any time — most of it from inside the app, the rest by emailing support@johoforms.com. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

johoforms is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
